Max began his artistic study in Maine at Bowdoin college, class of 2014. His early work explored the nature of photographic cyanotype prints, a style he was drawn to given its erratic and unpredictable nature. In 2021, he began painting and has been continuing to explore this medium. He is the winner of the Mckee photography grant (October 2013), the Richard P. Martel memorial fund (May 2014) and the Hottest Boyfriend award (2024-2025).
